Monitor

The MCB517AC Evaluation Board includes a pre-configured monitor (MON51) which you may use to run and debug your target programs. The MON51 Target Monitor provides a direct interface for source-level, symbolic debugging with the µVision Debugger. Use the serial port of your PC to download and debug target programs on the MCB517AC Evaluation Board.

MON51 allows you to:

• Display memory contents in ASCII and hexadecimal,
• Interactively change memory contents,
• Display and change register contents,
• Initialize memory with constant values,
• Disassemble program code,
• Assemble in-line code,
• Run programs with breakpoints in real-time,
• Single-step through your program,
• Step over subroutines,
• Upload and download Intel HEX files and OMF51 object files.
