Using: - Windows 7 Professional - uVision V5.17.0.0 - Ulink2 ordered 1-2 weeks ago
Problem: - Plugging in Ulink2 turns on the USB light (COM and RUN remain off, but flash briefly upon being plugged in) - Windows recognizes the device, but nothing actually happens. In uVision, all the drop-down menu contents are greyed out (For example, "Flash" shows 'Download', 'Erase', 'Configure Flash Tools', all of which are greyed out) - Following the links above, I tried a bunch of things, but the actual situation doesn't change - In Device Manager under Human Interface Devices, there are two listings 'HID-compliant device' and 'USB Input Device' -- when I run Update Driver, I get 'Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date' after a long search
How can I resolve this?
Perhaps you could contact technical support? Speak to your local IT mopes?
If you think the pod is defective, seek a replacement. I'd recommend trying it on a different system, I've heard complaints about DELL USB3 ports, and I would also check if AV or company policy settings impact the installation of drivers and USB attached peripherals.
I have ULINK2 pods working on Win7 x64 machines, so I think you need to focus on what's different or out of place on your installation.

Cables are also a big point of failure.
work with Ulink2 without update firmwork in Keil 5.x
i worked with Ulink2 and i have very problem in keil 5 series. i solved that problem :
first install keil 4.7 go to setup destination /Arm / BIN copy this 6 files : UL2ARM.dll UL2CM3.dll ulinkpro.bin ulinkprod.bin ULP2ARM.dll ULP2CM3.dll
then uninstall the keil 4.7 and install keil 5.x go to setup destination /Arm / BIN paste & replacement 6 file here go to keil 5 and select ulink2 (debug & utility tab) now you can enjoy with ULINK2
