File, Group, and Component Attributes: http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/uv4/uv4_ca_filegrp_att.htm
The little red "No Entry" symbol is supposed to indicate, "Items excluded from the target and linkage"
If I manually exclude an item from just one Target, the symbol is still displayed in other Targets from which the item is not excluded!
This is misleading and, thus, unhelpful!
FWIW, that still seems to have worked correctly in uV 5.12
This is an end user forum. End users can do nothing to fix the issue.
You should report this to Keil support.
The link for them can be found at the top of the webpage.
Sure both respondents are aware of that, and that Bob, Ralf, Chris and Reinhard, and others do lurk here.
Sometimes it helps to confirm the issue is in other installations before running around shouting fire..
Difficult to disagree with that, but it's easy to do that oneself prior to reporting or posting or (even worse) causing potential panic in other users.
That is certainly what I've done before when reporting compiler issues.
Hi Andrew,
we are not able to replicate the effect that you are describing. So there must be other conditions that make this appear.
Can you describe it a bit more? Does it happen with any example projects?
