The NXP (founded by Philips) MIFARE PRO X is a dual interface 8051-based smart card controllers family that combines security associated with contact cards and the convenience of a contactless interface. They meet security requirements as defined for financial applications and comply with existing standards for both the contact (ISO 7816) and contactless (ISO 14443 A) interfaces.
