Overview

Keil, which is now an ARM Company, is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to become part of the Keil Software Technical Support team providing support for our market-leading, microcontroller software development products. The introduction of the RealView Microcontroller Development Kit product has created exciting new challenges that require growth in the technical support team. RealView MDK-ARM is targeted at all ARM7, ARM9 and Cortex-M3-based 32-bit microcontrollers, and benefits from the strengths of both ARM and Keil technologies. The product portfolio also includes established products targeted at 8051 8-bit microcontrollers and C166 16-bit microcontrollers which continue to be marketed under the Keil brand. The products deliver complete software design environments, including compilation, debug, simulation, real-time kernel and associated firmware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fast and accurate answers to customer questions about Keil microcontroller development tools
  • Investigate reported software and hardware bugs, and interface with engineering for resolution, if necessary
  • Document reported problems, analysis and the solutions given
  • Create and modify web-based knowledgebase articles and application notes

Essential Technical Skills

  • At least 2 years microcontroller software development experience
  • At least 2 years experience using C/C++ software development tools, preferably for embedded applications
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or Vista

Essential Language Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent hearing, and speaks clearly and fluently in English

Essential Personal Traits

  • Enjoys working with customers and solving problems
  • Has good organizational skills and is detail-oriented
  • Demonstrates a positive, "can-do" attitude
  • Is enthusiastic, open-minded, innovative and reliable
