Target Checklist

If you are experiencing connectivity issues to your target device, try the following:

1. Enable the SWJ checkbox.
2. Select Port:SW.
3. Select different Max Clock: frequencies (10MHz, 5MHz, 2MHz, 1MHz, 500kHz, 200kHz, 100kHz) from the drop-down list.

   

   After each new selection, check whether a device ID is shown in the SW Device list box.

   • If YES, then your ULINKplus is communicating with your target. Use this setting in your project.
   • Otherwise proceed with the next step.
4. With the SWJ checkbox still enabled, select Port:JTAG and try out several Max Clock: frequency settings. After each new selection, check whether a device is shown in the JTAG Device Chain list box.
   • If YES, your ULINKplus is communicating with the target. Use this setting in your project.
   • Otherwise, proceed with Exchange Procedure and report code UPTC2.
