µVISION: Duplicate Startup and System Files in Project

SYMPTOM

The Project Window in µVision displays the System and Startup files twice like this:

How can I fix this so there is only instance of these files?

CAUSE

You have more than one target defined in your Project, and you have selected different devices for each target, so both are displayed in the Project tree.

RESOLUTION

As indicated by the flagged Project Window icons, these files are not used to build the current target.  Many people find this display useful to indicate that this project contains other targets using different devices or variants of a device. 

To remove the unused instance from the display, check the Options for Target -- Device tab for each target in your project and select the same device for each target.
