Information in this knowledgebase article applies to:

  • C51 - All versions
  • C251 - All versions

QUESTION

I know the Keil LX51 linker can optionally create .COD file listings (with resolved addressing) for C modules. Can this type of file be created for assembly modules or for C modules from libraries?

ANSWER

There is no way to create .COD listings for assembly modules or C modules within libraries. This is done to help protect your C modules in libraries and your assembly modules from being "reverse-engineered".
