Keil MCB2470 Evaluation Board

Plano, TX: Keil extends its support for ARM7™ family-based devices from NXP Semiconductor (formerly Philips Semiconductors) with the introduction of the MCB2470 evaluation board.

Featuring the LPC2478 microcontroller, the MCB2470 includes 128MB external RAM and 32MB external Flash in addition to the on-chip memory offered by the LPC2468. It offers a color QVGA LCD display with touch screen plus a wide range of interfaces including USB (Host & OTG), CAN, Ethernet, SD/MMC cards, and UARTs.

Software and Examples

The Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK-ARM) features numerous ready-to-run example projects for the MCB2470, making practical use of the board's peripherals. Some of these examples are built around the Keil RTX Real-Time Kernel, also included as part of MDK-ARM.

The Real-Time Library, includes CAN, Flash file system and USB device examples ported to the MCB2470 board.

Both Keil MCB2470 will be available from Keil and our distribution channels during in March, 2009.
