Keil supports Infineon XC878 Series
Plano, TX: Keil announce support for the XC878 series of
Infineon microcontrollers in the new C51 Version 8.15 release. The
XC878 series expands Infineon's 8-bit XC800 microcontroller family to
provide more scalable performance for cost-sensitive industrial and
automotive applications. XC878 devices operate at up to 26.7MHz and
support up to 64 Kbyte of Flash memory, 2 independent PWM units, 10
PWM outputs and a 10-bit analog to digital converter.
The Keil C51 Version 8.15 supports
Infineon XC878 devices with Flash Programming and Program Debugging
using the µVision IDE/Debugger and the
ULINK2 USB-JTAG Adapter. Also
provided is support for the Infineon DAS interface. The µVision
IDE directly interfaces to Infineon DAvE for seamless device configuration. The
µVision Debugger contains both a cycle-accurate device
simulator that provides models of all on-chip peripherals of the
Infineon
XC878 devices.
An evaluation version of C51 v8.15 is available for download which includes
an example project to help test the software on XC800 devices.
