Hitex are holding a series of one day seminars that introduce the Keil µVision® embedded project development environment and Arm® Cortex®-M series architecture.

This seminar presents the fundamentals of Cortex-M3/M4 in theory and practice. The focus is on using Arm Keil MDK under various conditions. From simply programmed linear code to RTOS using middleware, the capabilities of MDK are presented using practical examples. These exercises are guided and require at least average C-programming skills. Three different eval boards and targets are available as the hardware platform: LPC1700, STM32, XMC4500 .

Content:

  • Arm Cortex-M3/M4 series architecture
  • Basic project setup and Keil µVision IDE Version and configurations
  • MCBSTM32, MCB1760, or XMC-HiLight (XMC4500) evaluation board
  • On-chip debugging
  • Use of resources and MDK options
  • Debugging strategies and troubleshooting
  • Behaviour analysis

All attendees will receive a:

  • Evaluation board
  • ULINK2 JTAG adapter
  • MDK-Professional (30 days full license)
  • Training materials and examples

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

This seminar will be held in German.
