Using PC-lint for MISRA and static code analysis

Webinar using your computer — Apr 27, 2017 10 am CET

MISRA C is a set of rules aiming to facilitate code safety, security, portability and reliability in the context of embedded systems programmed in C. MISRA is widely used by developers in sectors including automotive, aerospace, and medical.

PC-lint is a static analysis tool that will check your C/C++ source code and helps to find bugs, glitches, inconsistencies, non-portable constructs, and redundant code. It also acts as a MISRA checker. PC-lint even provides extra benefits, as the checker is independent of the compiler. For safety critical applications this ensures that a flaw in the compiler diagnostics is covered by PC-lint.

This webinar demonstrates how you can configure and use PC-lint easily in µVision to get better code using MISRA and static code analysis. Real-world demos show the seamless integration of PC-lint for fast turn-around times when inspecting your source code.

Presenter:
This webinar will be presented by Matthias Hertel, Product Specialist MCU Development Tools. Matthias has a deep knowledge about Keil MDK, ARM's development suite for Cortex-M based microcontrollers. With 15 years of experience in the microcontroller tools market he knows a solution for almost every development requirement.

For those who can't attend our live session, we will provide a recording.
