Hitex are holding a series of one day seminars that introduce the Keil µVision® embedded project development environment and Arm® Cortex®-M series architecture.

This seminar presents the fundamentals of Cortex-M3/M4 in theory and practice. The focus is on using Keil MDK-Arm under various conditions. From simply programmed linear code to RTOS using middleware, the capabilities of MDK-Arm are presented using practical examples. These exercises are guided and require at least average C-programming skills. Three different eval boards and targets are available as the hardware platform: LPC1700, STM32, XMC4500 .

Content:

  • Arm Cortex-M3/M4 series architecture
  • Basic project setup and Keil µVision IDE Version and configurations
  • MCB-STM32 evaluation board LPC-MCB1760 OR MCB-STM32EXL OR XMC- HiLight (XMC4500)
  • On-chip debugging
  • Use of resources and MDK-Arm options
  • Debugging strategies and troubleshooting
  • Behaviour analysis

All attendees will receive a:

  • Evaluation Board
  • ULINK2 JTAG adapter
  • MDK-Professional (30 days full license)
  • Training materials and examples

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

This seminar will be held in German.
