Configuration Dialogs

Options for Target Button The dialogs in Project - Options for item offer tool and File and Group Specific Options. The dialogs can be opened also from the window Project through the context menu of an item.

The following table lists various dialogs - without being complete. The options and dialog pages depend on the device type selected. Refer to Options for a comprehensive explanation.

Dialog Page Description
Device Select or switch to another device.
Target Configure the hardware and code generation of your application.
Output Define the executable file name and browse information.
Listing Specify all listing files that get generated.
User Run custom programs that execute before compilation, or before and after the build process.
C/C++ Set C/C++ compiler-specific tool options like code optimization or variable allocation. This tab exists when developing with a compiler version prior to ARM Compiler 6.
C/C++ (AC6) Set C/C++ compiler-specific tool options like code optimization or variable allocation. This tab exists when developing with the ARM Compiler 6.
Asm Set Assembler-specific tool options like macro processing.
Linker Set Linker related options. Typically, linker settings are required to configure the physical memory layout of the target system. Define the location of memory classes and sections in here.
Debug Settings for the µVision Debugger.
Utilities Configure Utilities for Flash Programming.
