µVision4 User's Guide
This User's Guide describes the µVision® IDE &
Debugger. It contains the following chapters:

About µVision describes
the major µVision features and folder structure.

User Interface
describes the menus, the toolbar, and the window concept.

Creating
Applications describes the creation of projects and
multiple-projects, features to edit and compile source files, fix
errors and warnings, and generate executable code. This chapter
includes a section with advanced techniques such as invoking
external tools, creating a custom Device Database, or including
library modules.

Utilities describes
built-in utilities such as Find in Files or the Source
Browser, and shows options to attach third-party utilities such
as PC-Lint or software version control systems.

Debugging describes the
µVision debugger, the debugging windows and dialogs, and
expressions that can be used in debugging commands. The chapter
includes a section with advanced debugging techniques for accessing
or simulating peripherals.

Debug Commands
describes debug and trace commands that can be entered in the
Command window.

describes built-in functions, user-functions, and signal-functions,
which extended the debugging capabilities of µVision.
