µVision shows trace information in:

• Trace Status that continuously displays status and progress messages.
• Logic Analyzer that displays up to 4 global or static variables on a time-graph.
• Kernel Awareness windows show aspects of the system state and tasks.

Detailed trace information for Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M4 processor-based devices can be viewed using the following windows:

• Debug (printf) Viewer for viewing debugging and program-specific information.
• Performance Analyzer for viewing execution statistics.
• Instruction Trace for viewing the instruction history of devices that are not based on Cortex-M processors.
• Trace Data (Cortex-M) for viewing the instruction history of Cortex-M processor-based devices.
• Trace Navigation (Cortex-M) for scrolling through the captured trace records.
• Exception Trace window that displays statistics about processor exceptions, which are based on trace events.
• Event Counters window that displays a counter for each user-selected event.
