µVision uses a target driver to control Flash downloading.
Use the Options for Target toolbar button and
click on the Utilities tab.
Select Use Target Driver for Flash Programming.
Select the driver that matches the target debugger from the
drop-down list. For example, when using ULINKpro, select the
ULINKpro driver.
Check the Update Target before Debugging option to
ensure that the Flash ROM gets programmed whenever the debugger
starts.
Click the Settings button to display the Flash
Download Setup dialog.
The Flash Download Setup dialog consists of three
configuration groups:
Download
Function defines the operations executed whenever programs are
downloaded to Flash.
RAM for
Algorithm to define the address space where programming
algorithms are loaded and executed.
Programming
Algorithm configures µVision to use the appropriate programming
algorithms based on the memory-map and Flash devices used.
Note
Use Init
File to execute special commands or functions that prepare the
device for Flash downloading. For example, use this feature of
µVision to initialize the external BUS when required.
