Configure Cortex-M Devices

To debug Cortex-M processor-based devices using ULINKpro and µVision, configure the:

• Debug Driver for debugging programs running on target hardware.
• Trace Options to enable the trace features provided by the Cortex-M hardware.
• Flash Download to program on-chip and external Flash memory on your target hardware.

Note

• ULINKpro automatically detects the debug features of the target system core. It reads the CPU ID and checks which core debug peripherals are present. With this information ULINKpro is able to determine:
  • The number of Flash breakpoints.
  • The number of watchpoints.
  • The possible use of ITM, ETM, and TPIU.
