STMicroelectronics STM32F10xxx devices support all CoreSight features including ETM trace. No additional target resources are needed for debugging. By default, STM32F10xxx devices debug in JTAG mode, and can be switched to Serial Wire Debug mode. STM32F10xxx devices offer ETM, ITM, and DWT trace data. However, to capture ETM trace data, a ULINKpro debugger adapter is needed instead of ULINK2.
To use CoreSight trace functionalities, the STM32F10xxx device, the debugger adapter and connector, as well as µVision have to be configured properly:

- When debugging in low-power modes, configure the DBG_SLEEP or DBG_STOP bit of the DBGMCU_CR register first. Otherwise, the debug connection is lost.
