The Infineon XC16x Starter Kits work with the ULINK2 USB-JTAG Adapter. The following instructions show you how to connect and run an example program on this board.
ULINK2 Adapter Connected to XC16x
To download and run an example project:
- Connect the 16-pin ribbon connector from the ULINK2 Adapter to the OCDS connector on the XC16x evaluation board.
- Set Jumper JP401 to 1-2, and the DIP switches as follows:
- Connect power to the board using an external 6 Volt DC power supply. The connection uses a 5.5mm barrel plug.
- Start µVision.
- Select the BLINKY.UV2 example project from C:\KEIL\C166\BOARDS\INFINEON XC16BOARD\.
Click the Download button to download the program to the target board.
Click the Debug button to start the debugger.
Click the Run button to start the program running on the target board.
