Technical Support On-Line Manuals OCDS User's Guide | OverviewOCDS (On-Chip Debug System) is an innovative in-circuit debugging system that is integrated into the microcontroller and controlled via debug interface pins that must be brought out to your PCC Board. Currently, the OCDS interface is available on Infineon C161U, C165UTAH, C165H, XC161, and XC164 derivatives. It is expected to be available on all new Infineon C16x and XC16x devices as well. OCDS provides a broad range of debugging features using standard production chips. It allows you to debug user software running on unmodified target systems with minimal hardware overhead. Additionally, OCDS may be used as a high-speed interface for Flash programming. There are two ways you can connect your target OCDS system to your PC.
Both debugging and Flash programming may be accomplished using the Keil µVision IDE and Debugger. µVision supports OCDS and works with the LPT port of your PC and with the ULINK USB Adapter. | |||||||
