Menu Commands

The following commands are available from the µVision menu bar:

  • Flash - Download: load the data content of the current µVision project to the target system. Use Configured Flash Download to define erase, program, verify and run options of this command.
  • Flash - Erase: clear all content of the connected Flash ROM devices.

Configure Flash Download

Use Project - Options for Target - Utilities - Settings to configured the Flash utility.

Flash Download Dialog

Download Function configures the operation of the Flash - Download command.

  • Erase all Flash ROM sectors that have new content data in the current µVision project.
  • Program the content data of the current µVision project.
  • Verify all Flash ROM content with the content data of the current µVision project.
  • Run start program execution when download is completed.

Programming Algorithm defines attached Flash ROM devices and configuration parameters.

The list shows the attached Flash ROM programming algorithms.  Select the algorithm to change:

  • Bus Typ changes the BUS configuration used for this device.
  • Chip Select defines the active CS line for this device.
  • Start defines the start address
  • Size defines the size of the Flash ROM device.

Use Add to attach other Flash ROM devices or Remove to delete the selected device algorithm.
