| XC800 Interface ConnectorAn OCDS connector is easily added to the user hardware. The OCDS interface allows application debugging and programming of on-board Flash ROM devices. The Infineon XC800 device must be wired to the OCDS connector pins as described in the following table. | Pin | Standard OCDS Signal | XC86x Connection |
|---|
| TMS | Test mode select input (according to the IEEE 1149.1 Standard) | TMS pin: Use 100KOhm pull-up resistor to VCC | | TDO | Test data output (according to the IEEE 1149.1 Standard) | TDO pin | | CPUCLK | CPU clock (according IEEE Standard 1149.1) | Not used on KEIL ULINK | | TDI | Test data input (according IEEE Standard | TDI pin: Use 100KOhm pull-up resistor to VCC | | TRST | Test reset input (according IEEE Standard 1149.1) | TRST/ pin: Use 100KOhm pull-down resistor to GND | | TCK | Test clock input (according IEEE Standard | TCK pin: Use 100KOhm pull-up resistor to VCC | | BRKIN | Hardware break in (Infineon-specific) | BRKIN pin: Use 100KOhm pull-up resistor to VCC. Not used on KEIL ULINK | | TRAP | Trap condition (Infineon-specific) | Not used on XC800 Devices | | VCC | Positive Supply Voltage | Supply Voltage (+5V) | | GND | Digital Ground | Digital Ground | | RESET | Chip reset (Infineon specific) | RSTIN/ pin: Use 100KOhm pull-up resistor to VCC | | BRKOUT | Hardware break out (Infineon-specific) | BRKOUT pin: Not used on KEIL ULINK | | OCDS | Enable/Disable OCDS interface (Infineon-specific) | Not used on XC800 Devices |
The pins TMS, TDO, TDI, TCK, BRKIN, BRKOUT may share I/O Port pins on some of the XC800 series devices. The pins TRST and RESET are open collector outputs on KEIL ULINK with 10K Ohm pull-up resistor to 3.3V (VCC). OCDS is typically implemented using a 16-pin IDC connector with 0.1 inch (2.54mm) spacing. The connector pin-out is illustrated at the right.
