The Writing Programs topics introduce you to the Keil development tools and show you, step-by-step, the process of using them with the MCBXC866 and the MCBXC88x boards. You will learn how to use µVision to create, compile, download, debug, and run a program on the MCBXC866 and MCBXC88x Boards.
Writing programs for the MCBXC866 and MCBXC88x boards is easy.
- Create the Application Program using the Keil µVision IDE and the Keil C51 toolset.
- Download the program to the on-chip Flash of the MCBXC866 and MCBXC8xx Boards.
- Debug the program using the µVision Debugger and ULINK.
The MCBXC866 and MCBXC8xx boards come with the Keil Development Tools CD-ROM that contains an Evaluation Version of the Keil PK51 Professional Developers Kit. If you are not already using Keil Tools, you may install the evaluation version from the CD-ROM.
