DAS Driver Setup

Infineon offers a Debug Access Server (DAS) for XC86x devices.

For the following examples, the DAS server and relevant hardware must be available on your computer. For more information about the DAS concept, contact Infineon.

As an alternative, you may use the Keil ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter.

The dialog contains two sub-dialogs that are identical to the Keil ULINK driver:

PCDS DAS Options

The Infineon DAS Driver Setup dialog provides the following options:

  • Host Computer allows you to specify a network address (domain name or IP address) of a computer that runs the DAS server. 'localhost' specifies that the DAS server runs on the same computer.
  • DAS Server lists all DAS servers on the host computer. Start puts this DAS server into running state. Stop terminates the running state.
  • Running DAS Server selects the DAS server for device connection.  Start automatically specifies that the selected DAS server is started if it is not already running at the beginning of a debug session or Flash download.
  • Device shows the chip which is detected on the JTAG interface.  If this line is grayed out, no device is detected.  Please check if the JTAG interface is connected correctly and if the power supply of the device is stable.
