The jumpers used to configure the MCBXC866 board are:
- J1 - LED: Enable LED Driver:
ON: enable LED driver for P3.0 - P3.7 LEDs. - J2 - LIN: Select Serial Interface (P1.0 and P1.1 may be used as UART (RS232) or LIN interface):
OFF: UART driver IC2 (RS232) is enabled (LIN disabled).
ON: LIN driver IC5 is enabled (UART disabled).
AUTO: pin P1.5 selects interface type: P1.5=LOW enables UART; P1.5=HIGH enables LIN interface. - J6 - BSL: BootStrap Loader Enable for In-System Programming:
ON: activates Bootstrap loader by setting the XC866 pin MBC to LOW. After CPU reset, you may use the serial download utility for programming the on-chip Flash.
OFF: start application in on-chip Flash after CPU reset.Note
- When ULINK is connected to the JTAG interface, J6 must be open for debugging and flash programming.
- P10: optional jumper for current measurement.
