Introduction

The Keil MCBXC167 Evaluation Board allows you to generate and test application programs for the 166/ST10 microcontroller family. With this hands-on process, you can determine the hardware and software requirements for current and future product development.

The MCBXC167 Evaluation Board is compatible with all variants of the Infineon XC16x microcontroller family and is available in two versions:

• MCBXC167 BASIC contains all hardware components that are required in a XC167 system and provides 512KByte RAM.
• MCBXC167 NET adds CAN and Ethernet communication hardware and off-chip Flash Memory.

The MCBXC167 NET board supports the TwinCAN controller available on the XC167 device and provides the ASIX AX88796 Fast Ethernet Controller. You may use a TCP/IP stack to connect the MCBXC167 NET board with the Internet via a standard 10/100 BASE Ethernet connection.

A complete TCP/IP stack implementation for the MCBXC167 NET board is available within the Keil Advanced RTX166 real-time operating system.
