Debugging BLINKY

Debug the BLINKY example program following this procedure. The debugged program is ready for the serial output check.

Configure the DIP Switches Before Starting BLINKY on MCBXC167

Before you can start the BLINKY application on the target hardware, you must configure the DIP Switch setting on the MCBXC167 board. Refer to DIP Switches for more information.

Start/Stop Debug Button Use the Start/Stop Debug Session toolbar button or the µVision command Debug - Start/Stop Debug Session to connect the debugger to the Keil ULINK Adapter. The CPU stops and connects to the On-Chip Debug System (OCDS) of the Infineon XC167 device. For details on the debugging features, refer to the µVision User's Guide.

Note

  • Debugging the BLINKY program using the µVision debugger requires a ULINK USB-JTAG adapter.

The Peripherals Menu allows you to open different dialogs for Peripheral units on the Infineon XC167 device. You may view and/or change the state and configuration of on-chip peripherals using these dialogs. For example:
