Debugging EASYWEB

Debug the EASYWEB example program following this procedure. The debugged program is ready for the output check.

Configure the DIP Switches Before Starting EASYWEB on MCBXC167

Before you can start the EASYWEB application on the target hardware, you must configure the DIP Switch settings on the MCBXC167 board. Refer to Set DIP Switches for EASYWEB.

Start Debug

Start/Stop Debug Button Use the Start/Stop Debug Session toolbar button or the µVision command Debug - Start/Stop Debug Session to connect the debugger to the Keil ULINK Adapter. For details on the debugging features, refer to the µVision User's Guide.

Note

  • Debugging the EASYWEB program using the µVision debugger requires a ULINK USB-JTAG adapter.

The Peripherals Menu allows you to open different dialogs for Peripheral units on the Infineon XC167 device. You may view and/or change the state and configuration of on-chip peripherals using these dialogs. For example:

The PORT 3 dialog reflects the status of the I/O ports.
