Introduction

The Keil MCBx51 Evaluation Board allows you to generate and test application programs for the 8051 and 251 microcontroller families. With this hands-on process, you can determine the hardware and software requirements for current and future product development.

The MCBx51 Evaluation Board supports all operating modes of the 8051 and 251 microcontroller devices:

• Classic 8051
• Enhanced 8051
• the Dallas Semiconductor 80C320, 8x420 or 8xC520
• the Intel 251SB/251TB
• the Atmel AT/TSC80251G1D/G2D

The MCBx51 Evaluation Board ships with an 8051 or 251 microcontroller device. The MCBx51 Board contains all required hardware components.
