The Texas Instruments TMS570LS20216 microcontroller (IC1) provided with the MCBTMS570 board is a high-end TMS570x Cortex-R4 microcontroller device with on-chip CAN, LIN and Flexray support.
A 16.0 MHz oscillator provides the clock signal for the MCU.
