CAN Interface
The triple CAN Interface uses the SN65HVDA540 (marked as A540Q) CAN driver at IC34 (CAN1), IC31 (CAN2) and IC30 (CAN3) and termination resistors at R160/R162, R148/R150 and R144/R145, respectively, on the MCBTMS570 IO board.
The CAN connectors are wired so that position 1 provides the CANL signal and position 3 provides the CANH signal. Position 2 is ground. These pins connect to a SN65HVA540 CAN driver.
Note
- CAN termination resistors make it easy to connect the MCBTMS570 board to your CAN network but they are not always required. When connecting the MCBTMS570 Board to a CAN network, you may need to remove the termination resistor.
