Software Requirements

You must install the following required software to use the MCBSTR9 Evaluation Board:

Windows Operating System

The Keil µVision tool chain runs in these Windows Operating Systems:

• Microsoft Windows 2000
• Microsoft Windows XP

Tools and Examples

To compile, link and run applications on the MCBSTR9 Evaluation Board, you must install these Keil products:

• The RealView MDK-ARM which includes the µVision Debugger and provides several example programs for the MCBSTR9 Board.
• The STR91x Software Library which provides a software foundation for the STR91x peripherals.

Optional

• The RealView RL-ARM Real-Time Library which includes the RTX Real-Time Kernel, TCP/IP Protocol Suite, CAN Driver, and USB Driver. You may use this package to implement applications that connect by Ethernet, CAN, or USB.
