The MCBSTR730 board contains a speaker controlled by the output of the on-chip D/A converter. A low voltage amplifier circuit amplifies the D/A output to drive the speaker.
Jumper X27 connects the D/A output (Port 2, pin 3, P2.3) to the input of the amplifier circuit. Removing this jumper disables the speaker.
