Power is supplied to the MCBSTR730 Board by an external 7 - 12 Volt DC power supply which must be capable of providing 150mA.
The connection uses a standard barrel plug. On the board, the voltage regulator N8 generates 5 Volts DC. The 5V_OK LED displays whenever 5 Volts DC is present.
 | Caution: Using a power supply with the wrong polarity may damage the board. (A diode protects your board against reverse polarity on the power connnector.) |
The center hole provides positive voltage.
