Configuring the MCBSTR730

The jumpers used to configure the MCBSTR730 board are Boot Config Jumpers and Port Connection Jumpers.

Boot Config Jumpers

M1 M0 Mode Boot Memory Mapping Note
OFF1 OFF1 User Boot Mode 1 Flash Sector B0F0 mapped at 0h. All Flash Sectors accessible except System Memory Sector.
OFF ON User Boot Mode 2 Flash Sector B0F0 mapped at 0h. Flash B0F1 Sector and System Memory Sector not accessible.
ON OFF RAM System Memory mapped at 0h.
ON ON reserved

1 Factory setting of MCBSTR730: User Boot Mode 1; user code execution from on-chip Flash ROM.

X4 / ADC ON Connects potentiometer to P3.0
X7 / TX1 ON Connects RS232 (2) TX to P2.8
X8 / TX0 ON Connects RS232 (1) TX to P6.9
X9 / RX0 ON Connects RS232 (1) RX to P6.8
X10 / RX1 ON Connects RS232 (2) RX to P2.9
X11 / CAN RX1 ON Connects CAN (1) RX to P1.14
X12 / CAN TX1 ON Connects CAN (1) TX to P1.15
X13 / CAN RX2 ON Connects CAN (2) RX to P2.1
X14 / CAN TX2 ON Connects CAN (2) TX to P2.2
X27 / SPEAKER ON Connects speaker to P2.3
X28 / T-Sensor O.S. ON Connects I2C temperature sensor O.S to P2.13
X29 / T-Sensor SDA ON Connects I2C temperature sensor SDA to P2.15
X30 / T-Sensor SCL ON Connects I2C temperature sensor SCL to P2.14
X32 / JTAG ON Connects DBGACK of JTAG connector to P2.0
