Configuring the MCBSTR7

The jumpers used to configure the MCBSTR7 board are Boot Config Jumpers and Port Connection Jumpers as follows:

Boot Config Jumpers

BOOT_EN BOOT_1 BOOT_0 Memory Mapping CPU Program Execution
DIS any any Flash mapped at 0. User code from on-chip Flash ROM.
EN1 DIS1 DIS1 Flash mapped at 0. User code from on-chip Flash ROM.
EN DIS EN System Memory mapped at 0. Factory installed boot loader from System Memory (Reserved Mode).
EN EN DIS RAM mapped at 0. User code from on-chip RAM (useful during development).
EN EN EN EXTMEM mapped at 0. System executes code from external memory.

X27 / ADC ON Connect potentiometer to P1.0
X28 / TXA ON Connect RS232 (A) TX to P0.9
X29 / TXB ON Connect RS232 (B) TX to P0.11
X30 / Term. ON Apply termination resistor to CAN BUS
X31 / USB_CLK ON Connect 48MHz USB clock to P1.10
X32 / RX ON Connect CAN RX to P1.11
X33 / Wake-Up ON Connect Wake-Up push button to P0.15
X34 / RXA ON Connect RS232 (A) RX to P0.8
X35 / RXB ON Connect RS232 (B) RX to P0.10
X36 / TX ON Connect CAN TX to P1.12
X37 / SHDN ON Connect CAN SHDN to P1.13
