MCBSTM32E User's Guide

Jumper Descriptions

The jumpers used to configure the MCBSTM32E board are:

  • VUSB: Allows USB device detection or detection and soft-connect of the USB device by issuing a software restart via PB14.
  • BOOT0: Either grounds or drives the BOOT0 signal high.
  • BOOT1: Either grounds or drives the BOOT1 signal (PB2) high.
  • J3: Enables the on-board speaker.

The BOOT0 and BOOT1 jumpers configure the microcontroller startup (boot) mode. This setting tells the microprocessor the location (User Flash, System Memory or Embedded SRAM) of the boot code.
