Configuring the MCBSTM32E

The MCBSTM32E Evaluation Board is configured using 3 sets of jumpers. The MCBSTM32E Board ships with the following configuration:

Jumper	State	Description
VUSB	GND	USB Device Detection at Power-Up. LED PB14 shows the status of port pin PB14.
VUSB	PB14	Allows soft-connect of the USB device by issuing a software restart via PB14. In this configuration, transistor T2 limits PB14 voltage, so LED PB14 does not turn on.
VUSB	OFF¹	Board is not detected as a USB Device. LED PB14 shows the status of port pin PB14.

BOOT1	BOOT0	Mode	Description
----	GND¹	User Flash	Maps User Flash to boot space.
GND	BOOT0	System Memory	Maps System Memory to boot space.
BOOT1	GND	n/a
BOOT1	BOOT0	Embedded SRAM	Maps on-chip SRAM to boot space.

Jumper	State	Description
J3	ON¹	Connects the on-board speaker to the output of the DAC.

¹ Factory setting of MCBSTM32E: User Flash Boot Mode; user code execution from on-chip Flash ROM, and USB is not detected.
