Jumper Descriptions

The jumpers used to configure the MCBSTM32C board are:

  • VDD J4: Connects the 5 VDD inputs on the STM32F107VC to 3.3VDC.
  • BOOT0: Either grounds or drives the BOOT0 signal high.
  • BOOT1: Either grounds or drives the BOOT1 signal (PB2) high.
  • J1: Connects a pre-set microphone bias voltage to the AIN3B microphone input.
  • J3: Connects a pre-set microphone bias voltage to the AIN3A microphone input.
  • J5: Grounds the headphone detect switch (SPK/HP_SW) enabling the on-board speaker.

The BOOT0 and BOOT1 jumpers configure the microcontroller startup (boot) mode. This setting tells the microprocessor the location (User Flash, System Memory or Embedded SRAM) of the boot code.
