MCBSTM32 User's Guide

Jumper Descriptions

The jumpers used to configure the MCBSTM32 board are:

  • VUSB: Allows soft-connect of the USB device by issuing a software restart via PD2.
  • BOOT0: Can ground or drive the BOOT0 signal high.
  • BOOT1: Can ground or drive the BOOT1 signal (PB2) high.

The BOOT0 and BOOT1 jumpers configure the microcontroller startup (boot) mode. This setting tells the microprocessor the location (User Flash, System Memory or Embedded SRAM) of the boot code.
