After setting up the MCB950 Board, use Flash Magic to verify the COM connection.
- Make sure the RUN jumper is OFF, and the RESET jumper is ON.
- Start Flash Magic (using Start - Programs - Flash Magic) and configure the COM Port interface as illustrated.
- Verify the COM connection using the menu command ISP - Read Device Signature....
- The Read Device Signature... displays the following window. Then close the Window.
If there are any errors, recheck Configuring the COM Port and the jumper settings (RESET: ON, RUN: OFF).
