The MCBXC950 Board ships with a CD-ROM that contains the Evaluation Version of the Keil PK51 Professional Developer's Kit. PK51 includes:
- Powerful and easy-to-use µVision IDE that includes editor, project management, and make capability.
- Efficient C51 Compiler and Macro Assembler.
- µVision Debugger with complete CPU, peripheral simulation, and driver for the Keil ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter.
- Extensive tutorials and documentation.
Restrictions of the PK51 Evaluation Version
The restrictions for the Keil PK51 Evaluation Version are:
- The compiler, assembler, linker, and debugger are limited to 2 Kbytes of object code but source code may be any size. Programs that generate more than 2 Kbytes of object code can not compile, assemble, or link.
- The debugger supports files that are 2 Kbytes and smaller.
- Programs begin at offset 0x0800.
- You cannot use the Evaluation Version to create commercial products.
