Setup the FS2 System Navigator

The FS2 System Navigator must be configured for the NXP (formerly Philips) LPC95x device before it can be used.

• You may need to update your FS2 System Navigator software and Keil driver for the NXP (formerly Philips) LPC952 device. This software is available from FS2 Engineering at http://www.fs2.com/philips_download/. Select the FS2 Debugger for Philips LPC952 w/ Keil uVision driver file for download. This is a password-protected file. Please contact FS2 Support at support@fs2.com or +1 503-597-5091 Ext. 104 to request a password.

Setup the FS2 System Navigator using the Start — FS2 — FS2 System Navigator Console. This opens the same series of dialogs as in µVision under Project — Options for Target — Debug — FS2 PHILIPS 8051 Driver Settings.

• Configure the FS2 System Navigator as shown below:

• Click on Configure... for more setup options. The following dialog displays:

Select the options you need, click Close, then click OK. The FS2 System Navigator Console displays the following message:

• Moving the jumper from Reset to Run may cause the System Navigator Console to display one of the following error messages:

  Incorrect CPU identification code. (error 257)
  

  or

  Target power is off. (error 112)
  

  These messages can be ignored as long as the last two lines of the display appear as in the above figure.
