Downloading with Flash Magic
Downloading with the Flash Magic utility requires the following steps to download code to the P89LPC95x's on-chip Flash ROM.
To configure the MCB950 Evaluation Board for Flash programming, select and start Programs — Flash Magic — Flash Magic.

Select COM 3 for the COM Port, specify 7200 as the Baud Rate, and select the 89LPC952 as the Device.
Enable Erase blocks used by Hex File.

Select the Hex File, for example: C:\KEIL\C51\EXAMPLES\PHILIPS LPC95x\BLINKY\BLINKY.HEX.

In the Options —
Advanced Options dialog, enable Use DTR and RTS to enter ISP
mode, and select Keil MCB 900 from the Hardware
drop-down box.

Click Start to download the Hex File into the Flash ROM of the P89LPC952.
In case of errors, check the COM connection and jumper settings (RESET: ON, RUN: OFF).

µVision uses Flash Magic in batch mode for Flash programming. Monitor the progress in the Output Window that displays the messages Flash Magic generates.
