When you connect the MCB950 Board the first time, it asks for the installation of an USB Device Driver (the driver for the CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller). Windows opens the Found New Hardware Wizard.
For Windows XP users, if the Found New Hardware Wizard asks to connect to Windows Update, select: No, not this time, then click Next.
The Hardware Update Wizard gives you two options:
- Install the software automatically (Recommended). In this case, Windows searches the Internet for the related Device Driver.
- If you do not have an Internet connection, you may select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). In the search dialog, specify the CP210x driver located in the CD folder Utility\CP210x\WIN.
This completes the installation of the USB Device Driver.
