Configuring the MCB2929

The MCB2929 Evaluation Board is configured using a number of jumper settings. The MCB2929 Board ships with the following configuration:

Jumper State Description
J1 - ADC2
ON Potentiometer ADC2/IN0 is connected to ADC input AD02.
J2 - ADC0
ON Potentiometer ADC0/IN0 is connected to ADC input AD00.
J3 - D-
Dev Configures the USB Line D- for Device mode.
Supplies 5 VDC to USB-B connector VBUS pin.
J5 - D+ Dev
Configures the USB Line D+ for Device mode.
J6 - LED
ON Enables the LED driver IC that powers the 8 I/O port LEDs.
J7 - UMODE P1.24 Allows soft-connect of the USB device by issuing a software restart via P1.24
J8 - Debug ON Configures the JTAG interface to Debug Mode
J10 - 3.3V
ON Supplies 3.3 VDC power for MCU IO.
J11 - 1.8V
Supplies 1.8 VDC power to the MCU Core.

Configuring for the ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter

The default jumper settings (above) on the MCB2929 board are pre-configured for the ULINK USB-JTAG adapter.
