| Setting Target OptionsYou must select the speed and memory configurations for your target hardware. Since these features of the MCB2900 are fixed, copy the settings as shown below. The steps for setting the target options are: - Open the Target Tab of the Project — Options for Target dialog.
Type in the XTAL (MHz) of 10.0 for the oscillator frequency.
- Enter the memory ROM area for your target system in IROM1.
Enter the starting address of 0x20000000 in Start and the size of 0xC0000 in Size.
The MCB2900 has on-chip ROM from 0x20000000 to 0x200BFFFF for a total of 0xC0000 bytes.
- Enter the RAM memory area for your target system in IRAM1.
Enter the starting address of 0x80000000 in Start and the size of 0xC000 in Size.
The MCB2900 has on-chip RAM from 0x80000000 to 0x8000BFFF for a total of 0xC000 bytes.
Note - In the licensed (non-evaluation) version of MDK-ARM, the Memory Areas parameters automatically configure the scatter file for the RealView Linker/Locator.
