External RAM
The MCB2900 includes 2 Cypress CY7C1048DV33 external RAM ICs. This RAM may be configured for 16-bit mode which results in 1 MB RAM, or 8-bit mode which results in 512KB RAM.
For 8-bit mode, install 0 ohm resistors (shunts) at locations R32, R34 and R36.
For 16-bit mode, install 0 ohm resistors (shunts) at locations R23, R35 and R37 (default).
For either case, the start location of this RAM is 0x40000000.
