Writing Programs

The Writing Programs topics introduce you to the Keil development tools, and show you, step-by-step, the process of using them with the MCB2900 board. You will learn how to use µVision to create, compile, download, debug, and run a program on the MCB2900 board.

Writing programs for the MCB2900 board is easy.

  1. Create the Application Program using the µVision IDE and the and the RealView C/C++ Compiler.
  2. Download the program to the on-chip Flash of the MCB2900 Board.
  3. Debug the program using µVision Debugger and ULINK.

The MCB2900 board comes with the Keil Development Tools CD-ROM that contains an Evaluation Version of the RealView MDK-ARM Microcontroller Development Kit (Evaluation Version) . If you are not already using Keil Tools, you may install the evaluation version from the CD-ROM.
